December 10, 2012: The White Giraffe

It did work out for Martin. She was told that she had a gift and it was true! She was finding, healing, and helping animals. First she found a Cobra and she helped it not afraid of its attack. Then she found Jermmy ( the white giraffe) and she loved him and he loved her. It followed her every where and she always thought of him.Last she healed a Kudu with solider termites. She learned in school that solider termites can be used like a stich. She now wants to know if this is truly her gift. And if it is why?

December 3: The White Giraffe

Martine is a girl with green eyes and cut brown hair. She never will where a dress and does not like winter. One night Martine was sleeping and she started to hear " fire, fire". Martine was trapped in her room when a big plumb of smoke inflamed her room. She did not know what to do so she started to fined resources. She ended up using her blankets to make a rope when she finally left the house it was gone her parents were gone too. She never knew she had a grandmother but she does so, the grandmother is taking paseion over her. Now Martine has to move to South Africa to live with her grandmother. Will this work out for Martine?

November 16, 2012: Water Sky

Annie and Vincent's granddaughter finally meet. They wanted to meet for a long time and now they have. Annie told Little Owl how to make sealskin and igloos. The seal that Lincoln found is now Little Owls and she is excited. She is now making an igloo for him and for her to live in and it and is going to do every thing for this seal. Mean while Lincoln is upset because that was his seal.

November 14, 2012: Water Sky

Lincoln was determined to get a whales attion. He set up all the traps including the food trap. Every one was mad at him because he tried to kill a whale. He was yelling at Annie because she called him a whale killer. He started to cry and was all upset but he was still determined to obtain a whale. It has been the 48th day and he knows he will get the whale he has been longing for.

November 12, 2012: Water Sky's

Today, I read how Annie was telling stories about how the earth became. Kusiq was interested when out of the blue Lincoln walked in and Kusiq had a mad look on his face. Annie tried to calm him down so Lincoln was not fighting with him because of some crazy reason. Kusiq was calming down when he face turned to fury again.
"I tried to get or as you all say kill the big white whale called Water Sky," he said for every one to here. In Kusiq mind I know he was saying why do you even try to hurt a poor animal. Annie knew this would be a horrible night so she right away left the room in silance.

October 31, 2012: The kind of Friends we used to be

Kate was a girl who loved to be athletic. She just ended 6th grade and was excited to go to 7th. She always watched MTV2 at her friend Marcie's house because her mom would not let her watch it at home. One day on MTV2 it had a story about guitars and Kate fell in love with the idea. She went to a back to school party two months later and left there in the morning to go home but walking home she saw Fanny and went there for breakfast. When breakfast was over she looked in Fanny's closet and there was a guitar and Kate had to see it. Fanny lent it to her and then Kate had to get a new look now she is ready for 7th grade.

I could use a lot more detail and I think I rushed and I know I did not read it over. I am very sorry about the way I wrote and I will be more couscous. Here are my examples on proper quotations: " Why did Lucy leave?" Jack said in a worried voice. My example is not out of my book I just used the characters. I hope you like my blog!

Mallory was a comity member of the green fair at Fern Falls Elementary. She was very excited and already had many ideas. But she pick the best and the one she picked was making T-shirts. Nobody else liked them so they made recycle bin instead. She liked the T- shirts better but that was ok. They did the project and it went pretty well. Then Mallory found empty milk carton and made bird feeders. In the green fair they won first place and they were excited.

October15, 2012: The Sea of Trolls

Today, I read how Jack freed Lucy she was saved by Thorgal and took to the house by Jack. He had saved her life by taking her to the house. He had done this because the Bard could help them he thought. He was right the Bard took care of her and she was fine. But then she froze up and did not say any thing but," woooooooow," she would not stop. Lucy is still not talking and he is still very concerned. Jack was mad that she was acting like this in front of Thorgal. She was still all froze up when the caption came in and now they are in trouble.

October 11, 2012: The Sea of Trolls

Mrs. Xiong,
I read you comment and yes I will use one or two of my vocabulary words in my summary. Today my new vocabulary is Valhalla witch means having a strong hold to some thing in the Olaf language. One more vocabulary word that I learned is kindaskitur witch is sheep droppings in the Olaf language. Thank you and I hope you like my summary!

Today I read how Lucy was almost taken as a slave. She had been waiting on a wall for Vagals entrance. The owner of the Olaf language was there signing a paper that would let him take her away. Jack told them that she was not for sale. The leader stepped in and tried to persuade them to let him deal with the paper but they said no. They all started fighting but then Lucy stepped in and called the leader a kindaskitur. Then Jack said that he was Valhalla to Lucy and they agreed to let Lucy stay.

October 10, 2012: The Sea of Trolls

Today, I read how Lucy really did not die. Jack was so dizzy and sick feeling that he did not realize that she was alive. She was very scared because there was a thunder storm and they were separated. He was sleeping and having a good night sleep when all of the sudden he awoke to crying. While he was sleeping the vengeful tribe took him and his sister to a tree by a cave. Smoke was coming out of the cave and it was thick and black. Now they were both stuck and breathing in thick black smoke but at least they were together.

October 9, 2012: The Sea of Trolls

Today, I read how Lucy and Jack were separated for a long time. They had known that one day this would happen. Jack was trying to reach her but there was no hope. When they finally got to see each other again it had been more then a month since they had made contact. Then she went outside to look for him but he had been deep in the forest. She got lost deep within the black thick fog. He went to look for her then he found her crying next to a tree. When he finally got her to stop crying a group of monsters started heading there way. She said they were knights trying to find her.
So she shouted, "Here I am right here!" Then the monsters found them. The one monster had Lucy by her hair and a knife on her neck. Jack got hit and and then when he woke up he was on a boat and Lucy was all ready dead and he was ashamed of him self.

October 8, 2012: The Sea Of Trolls

Mrs. Xiong,
I realized that I did not do a space after Mr. Mullaney's name. Here is my example of using correct punctuation. Cassie went to Mr. Mullaney's class to correct her paper. My sentences also got words that I meant to exchange with other words that is why you did not understand. Here is my example of better structure. Here is my first sentence. I like do play after recess. Here is the first sentence all fixed up. I like to play at recess.

Today, I read how Lucy and Jack were talking deep into the night. Jack knew that Lucy did not understand because she was his little sister. They were just talking about Jack's plans of finding the Sea of Trolls. She just wanted to tell him about her and how she is a princess living in a castle. He was amazed that she was not scared of Trolls. She said that it sounded scary but she did not care. He was happy that he and Bard where getting closer to the Sea where the Trolls lay in boats waiting for all who entered. Lucy fell asleep and Bard told Jack about all of adventures he had went on. Jack was very sleepy and before he went to sleep he said "When I get up we better be there,".

October5,2012: Just another day in my Insanely Real Life

Today, I read how Cassie and Mr.Mullaney got together better then they did before. Also I read how Mr.Mullaney and Cassie went over Cassie's paper. Cassie said that Mr.Mullaney is evil and that his eyes were blazing with evil. Cassie thought that she was going to scream when Mr.Mullaney said that he needed to see her again and he wanted to just tell her that she had no more if her cat story done.And she was surprised that he even wanted to see it. Now that Cassie was in trouble because of lying she could not go to the party on Saturday. She was sad because Danny could now not take her.

October4,2012 Just another Day in my Insanely Real Life

Today I read how Cassie and Miranda were still fighting. Cassie and Miranda will not talk to each other and they are not even telling each other where they went. Mom told Miranda that she needed to come strait home from school because she was cooking dinner and she did not. And after Cassie and Miranda went to school Cassie came back and Miranda was not there. Miranda did not leave a note like normal so it was making Cassie mad. After she calmed down she called Madison and there was no answer and it was unusual. After she called Madison she looked for Adams number so she could call him to see if her sister was there and when she called a sleepy voice answered and Cassie thought that she would get killed by Miranda if she told her. After that all settled she started to cook dinner but she set the temperature on 500 digress and the kitchen started smoking and Miranda came running in to the kitchen like she had been home the whole time. When everything was over with and mom came home she talked to Cassie because she was mad at her for lying about Miranda. Cassie got grounded for the first time in her life. Cassie told Miranda about it and Miranda fled sorry for her and they stopped fighting.

October3, 2012: Just another Day in my Insanely Real Life

Today I read how Cassie and Miranda got along better. But the fighting started right back up again. Cassie was waiting for Miranda to come home with the groceries but instead of coming home with the groceries she came home with Madison. Cassie was so mad at Miranda for not shopping again that Cassie even told her mom about it. Cassie told her mom about Jackson and Mrs.Rivera calling and Miranda just hanging up on her. Cassie's mom was happy that they had that talk and they decided to let mom take care of the shopping from then on. Cassie's mom was so mad at Miranda that she grounded her for a month. Miranda and Cassie started fighting again and they are still not talking yet.

October 2,2012 Just another day in my insanely real life

Today I read about how Cassie was mad at Miranda. Miranda forgot to shop again and it was the 3 time. Jackson was watching TV when they were fighting. And then all the sudden the TV started making a buzzing noise and Jackson got scared. Then Mrs.Rivera called but Miranda just slammed the phone right on her and Cassie got even more mad. When Mrs. Rivera called back Cassie told her how sorry she was about what had happened. Cassie had Mr.Mullaney mad at her because she did not do her story right and she did not have enough pages. But when Cassie left school to get her bike and ride home her bickle key got lost in muddy leafs and Mr.Mullaney helped her find it and she thought that he was not that bad anymore.

                 Independent Reading is when a student reads to them self in there heads.  When we independent read Mrs.Xiong has other people read to her.  When Mrs.Xiong has us read to her she asks   us questions about what we are reading. When us the students are reading she is having people come up to her and she is letting them read and then giving them sticky notes to put on our CAFE board. After we read for about a half a hour we write a six to eight sentence paragraph telling about what we read that day. When we write we catch more information.


                  We thought it would be better to type then to wright. Typing saves paper and saves more time. Mrs.Xiong thought that if we saved more time it would be easier for us. I think that it is much harder to wright then to type. I hope that everyone will like typing more than writing.
